Maria dons socks as she goes
Maria immediately checks David’s feet for socks, finding the match for the blue sock from the table. She puts both socks on before continuing to look.
Maria continues her “put on the socks as she goes” strategy for the rest of her attempt, whether the socks she finds match or not. After finding the pink sloth sock underneath the table and putting it on, Maria also puts on the white doughnut sock from the table. When David points out that the two socks don’t match, Maria says that she intends to keep looking.
After another search beneath the table, Maria finds the black polka dot sock. She then eventually finds its match in the crossbar of the table.
Maria starts feeling around the plastic sheeting on the walls of the lab. Though doubtful that she will find anything, she is fortunate to find the UV torch in the first part she checks, as it rolls out across the floor. Unfortunately for Maria, she does not immediately spot it, and instead searches David’s pockets for more socks, finding nothing.
Maria finishes with two pairs of socks, and earns joint third place.
