Behrouz throws mushrooms

Immediately after reading the task brief, Behrouz picks up a sizeable mushroom from the ground. Before he can throw it, he asks David exactly what “Ow!” means, in the context of the task. More specifically, he wants to know if it means that David cannot be touched at all. David replies that he will say “Ow!” if he is “smacked” by something. Reasoning that being hit by a mushroom will not hurt David enough to cause disqualification, Behrouz starts to throw mushrooms at him.

Behrouz isn’t a terrible shot, as his throws are consistently close to the apple, but he still misses several times. Finally, Behrouz manages to throw a mushroom that hits David on the side of his face, which causes the apple to fall off of David’s head.

Behrouz completes the task in 2 minutes and 6 seconds, and earns third place.
