Charlotta breaks every rule
Somewhat worryingly for David, when Charlotta summarises the task to herself, she states that all she needs to do is just “remove the head”. David quickly clarifies that his head should remain in place, and that the apple is her target.
Charlotta searches the woods and soon finds a large stick, which she brings back to the boundary rope. As she is measuring whether the stick is long enough for her to lunge forward and poke the apple off of David’s head, her balance shifts forward, and she accidentally places one foot past the boundary. However, she argues that she had not actually entered the ring, as one of her feet had remained outside of it.
After searching for longer sticks – and then being reminded by David that one she chooses is actually just her original stick – Charlotta runs off to the shed in search of soft things to throw at him, and finds a basket of plastic balls.
Returning to the boundary, she begins throwing them at him from behind. Unfortunately for Charlotta, one of her throws is hard enough that when it hits David’s shoulder, he responds with an “Ow!”. However, Charlotta refuses to give up, insisting that her balls are “super soft”, and there’s no way David could have been hurt.
She repositions herself at a different part of the boundary, and continues throwing balls at David. After several more missed throws (one of which hits David squarely in the chest), an exasperated Charlotta then just picks up the rope and runs towards David with it, knocking the apple off of his head with her hand.
Charlotta completes the task in 6 minutes and 3 seconds, but is disqualified for breaking multiple rules.
