Phil films a low-budget episode of Dragon’s Den

Phil’s businessman is named “Nicocolas Duvernois” (named after the Quebecois entrepreneur Nicolas Duvernois, one of the ‘Dragons’ from Dans l'oeil du dragon, the Quebecois version of Dragon’s Den). Nicocolas is wearing Phil’s black trainers, and has misaligned googly eyes, pipe cleaner arms and handlebar moustache, and is holding a credit card. Voiced by a Phil, using a high-pitched voice while covering his mouth with his hand, Nicocolas welcomes Antoine to their meeting, and then asks that Antoine remind him what his business idea was.

After Antoine shares that his business idea is for an online tie shop, Nicocolas says that because he is a “terrible businessman”, his offer for a stake in Antoine’s business is located in a nearby briefcase. Antoine opens the briefcase to find C$150 in cash, as well as access to Nicocolas’ World Elite credit card. Antoine eagerly agrees to the deal, and shakes Nicocolas’ credit card, while Phil shakes two noise-makers to simulate the sound of audience applause.

In the studio, Louis muses that Phil’s attempt would only be truly appreciated by people who were heavily stoned, and he awards Phil second place.
