Siri is saved by her outburst
Siri is hesitant to attempt the task, as everything she can think of that she believes to be beneath Olli’s dignity is also beneath her own dignity.
She eventually settles on mounting one of the production cameras to herself and knocking on the door of the house as though it were Olli’s home.
When Olli answers the door, Siri identifies herself as ‘Kaja’, a reporter from Se og Hør (‘See and Hear’, a celebrity gossip magazine). She pushes past Olli, insisting that he had agreed to film a feature where he shows the Norwegian public the contents of his fridge. Olli replies that doing so would be beneath his dignity.
In the studio, Atle says that the point of the task was for Siri to do something that Olli considered to be beneath his dignity and that, as such, Siri should have shown the contents of her own fridge. Instead, the way her attempt came across was that she believed that it was beneath Olli’s dignity to pretend to be a member of the press.
Scrambling to justify her attempt, Siri claims that she was attempting to create a scene of something that would be beneath Olli’s dignity, were it to happen. She then chides Atle for being purposefully stupid, before admitting that she knows such a tactic is risky but, as she’s firmly at the bottom of the leaderboard already, she’s trying any strategy she can, including publicly shaming him.
Thanks to her last minute outburst of calling Atle stupid, Olli awards Siri first place.
