Leo creates a miniature pot and stove
Leo leaves the lab, soon returning with a silver plate, an empty glass bottle, a lighter, and a bag of tea light candles.
He lights one of the candles, and asks Olli if there is any foil that he can use. When Olli questions why, Leo says that he’d once seen someone on the street lighting foil, which had then started bubbling (referring to someone smoking either hard drugs or prescription painkillers).
To make a larger flame, Leo sticks a small piece of wood in between two tealight candles. He then removes the candle from the top part of his construction, filling the small candle holder with mulled wine, and effectively creating a miniature pot and stove.
Leo eventually manages to heat his wine to boiling point, so he earns joint first place.
