Charlotta consistently comes close
After mistiming her first shot, which only moves the ball a few inches away from her, Charlotta’s next shot hits the red ball and sends it up the side of the ramp leading to the pocket. Unfortunately, it veers away from the hole while on the ramp, and then rolls back down.
After setting the balls back up, Charlotta tries again. This time, the red ball just barely misses the ramp, and rolls past the hole.
Charlotta asks David to surround the hole with his body in a “banana formation”, to serve as a bumper to guide the ball in. However, David deliberately misunderstands her request, opting to lay nowhere near the hole, with his head propped up on one arm, to continue watching her attempts.
Charlotta’s next shot sends the red ball directly up the ramp and towards the hole. Heartbreakingly, though, the red ball does not have enough velocity, and stops just short of the hole before rolling back down the ramp again.
Her next shot has more power, but the red ball rolls up the ramp and bounces off of the bumper surrounding the back of the pocket, sending it back down the ramp.
After several more failed shots at the cue ball – one of which hits David – a dejected Charlotta tells David that she’s about ready to throw in the towel early.
She takes one more shot and, this time, the red ball finally cooperates, rolling up the ramp and straight into the hole.
Charlotta completes the task in 27 minutes and 28 seconds, and earns last place.
