Behrouz squanders a time advantage

Behrouz’s attempt is shown as part of a montage with Maria’s and Charlotta’s, so only snippets of his efforts are shown.

Behrouz starts out matching David’s time very closely, until the maths portion of the task. He apparently does not do solve the sum, as he is unable to open the locked box.

By this point, Behrouz’s clock is a full 30 seconds behind David’s. Unfortunately, Behrouz then wastes time trying to open the box anyway (perhaps even trying to smash it open), and he does not give up until he’s wasted his time advantage, resulting in his clock being 20 seconds ahead of David’s.

Behrouz also takes a penalty when blowing up the balloon, as he is unable to tie it. However, when it comes time to make the balloon dog, Behrouz grabs the balloon pump, suggesting that he may have then tried to blow up another balloon.

Behrouz’s timer ends at 5:42, while David’s is at 5:37.

After penalties, this results in a 35 second difference, and Behrouz earns joint second place.
