Maria demonstrates her anatomical superiority
Maria searches the shed for inspiration, and finds some small balloons.
She tells David not to watch her while she completes a demonstration of her challenge, shoving one of the uninflated balloons up one of her nostrils, sucking it through her nasal cavity, and then coughing it back out.
Maria’s challenge to David is that he must suck a balloon up each nostril, and cough both of them back up. She says that her challenge isn’t actually that hard, and she even gives pointers to David on how he could achieve it.
As she completes her challenge herself, David muses that her attraction isn’t one that can be found in Gröna Lund.
Although Maria had put both balloons in her nose at the same time, David opts to do one at a time, and seems genuinely alarmed when he sucks it into his nasal cavity enough that he can’t feel it in his nose or in his mouth. David ultimately throws in the towel, and blows the balloon back out of his nose.
Maria then reminds David that many amusement parks offer consolation prizes, and says that she has prepared a “Gender Surprise” (she uses the English words) for him. David refuses and starts to walk away, but Maria still delivers her surprise for him by setting off a confetti cannon (which may also have been her chosen grand prizewhich she sets off, sending blue confetti flying everywhere. Maria then gleefully announces that David is a man, and David confesses that he’d had his suspicions.
For completing a challenge that David could not, Maria earns 3 points.
