Behrouz flexes his pitching arm

When Behrouz asks David what things he considers to be weaknesses, David replies that he’s not particularly good at dunking. Behrouz (who is only just taller than David) shares a moment of commiseration.

Behrouz then drags a chain out of the shed and lays it on the ground as a boundary line, then positions an oil barrel near to the steps of the house. He then proceeds to throw plastic balls at the barrel, from the chain boundary, in an attempt to sink a shot.

After several misses, he finally lands one, then claims that he will immediately sink another shot, which will be his challenge to David. Naturally, Behrouz’s follow-up shot misses, and he is never actually able to score two in a row.

As Behrouz grows increasingly desperate, David – who has been dryly mocking Behrouz throughout – points out that three of his failed shots had landed close enough that they had ended up resting against the barrel, on the ground.

Behrouz then quickly adapts his challenge to match the results that David had observed: from behind the chain, David gets three attempts to hit the barrel, with three balls per attempt. If all three balls hit the barrel, David will win the grand prize: a large novelty hotdog. It’s unclear from the edit, but it appears that David only gets more attempts after his first one if he successfully hits the barrel.

Behrouz stands by the barrel while David attempts to meet the challenge, taking his turn to mock David’s shots, as David had done to him before.

David’s shots all come close, but he ultimately fails the challenge, and so he storms off behind the shed in annoyance.

For completing a challenge that David could not, Behrouz earns 3 points.
