Charlotta finds the shortcut

In the lead-up to Charlotta’s attempt, David points out the existence of the double-tailed coin in the gazebo, which implies that Charlotta might have found it. However, she immediately opts to walk underneath the ladder at the first station, leaving only the double-tailed coin in the study as her option to guarantee a quick result at the end of the lucky tour.

At the second station, Charlotta opts to let the black cat cross her path, and is unable to hold in her laughter as David continues to pull it with gravitas, despite the fact that it falls over midway through its trip.

She is not shown at the third station but, from what can be seen in the background, she chose to place the keys on the table.

Charlotta laughs maniacally before breaking the mirror at the fourth station.

At the fifth station, Charlotta opts to close the umbrellas in the study, instead of opening one in the lab. As she does so, she questions why she had chosen this option, as it isn’t bad luck. She seems to either be under the impression that the point of the task is to choose only the bad luck options, or else had she had intentionally opted to do so. After closing the umbrellas, Charlotta notices the red arrow on the wall, and finds the double-tailed coin.

At the final station, armed with her double-tailed coin, she quickly and effortlessly flips five ‘tails’ in a row.

Charlotta completes the lucky tour in 4 minutes and 52 seconds, and earns first place.
