Maria’s stylish siphoning

Maria opens the jar of kombucha, but then immediately runs off to source some other supplies. She removes the hosepipe from the tap on the side of the house, and apparently also stops by the hallway of the house to collect costume items, including a few feather boas, a pair of maracas, and some neon green sunglasses, before searching the shed in search of other items to assist her attempt.

Maria places one end of the hosepipe into the container of kombucha, and then extends it as far as she can across the lawn, ending up near the top of the hill near to the house.

She then poses with the maracas and manages to suck out nearly the entire contents of the container of kombucha rather quickly, before the weight of the hosepipe causes it to fall off of the plinth.

David does not inform her that she has already fulfilled the conditions of the task (in the studio, Maria confirms that she’d thought she was meant to drink all of the kombucha), and instead enjoys watching her squirm around on the ground, attempting to suck the remaining dregs of kombucha from the fallen container.

Maria drinks kombucha from 11.4 metres away, and wins the task.
