Sophie’s “Egg babies”

Apropos of nothing, Sophie starts off by saying that she’s met Greg’s aunt and uncle, Pam and Willy. She claims that Pam was ‘Miss Wem’ in 1962, but Greg then informs here that he knows all of his aunts and uncles very well, and has no ‘Aunt Pam’ or ‘Uncle Willy’.

For her actual prize submission, Sophie brings in “egg babies”, a set of three eggs with googly eyes, pacifiers, and safety-pinned nappies.

Alex shares that egg babies are a thing that actually exist as a training aid for parenthood, with people expected to take care of them for up to two months. When Greg asks who would do that, Alex replies, “Me and my wife.”

Greg is impressed with the egg babies and awards Sophie 3 points for her effort.
