John swaggers off

John gathers all of the hoops, but for some reason decides to start his hoopla-ing with the smallest ones.

His first two hoops both hit Gary, but do not land over his head. Following Gary downstream, John keeps throwing more hoops, but none of them land on target. John finally manages to hoopla Gary when he has just a few hoops remaining.

After Alex stops the clock, John asks whether he can take some extra distance throws at Gary, just for the fun of it. Since Alex doesn’t mind, John then stands farther back from the bank and manages to hoopla Gary yet again. Deciding that things aren’t going to get any better than that, he drops the last hoop and does what Greg describes in the studio as a “pleased-with-yourself walk-off”. John admits in the studio that he had been so thrilled to have achieved such a feat, and was genuinely still pleased about it now.

John completed the task in 2 minutes and 5 seconds, and incurs no wet-limb penalties, so he earns 3 points.
