Steve returns to the fairground

After reading the task brief, Steve asks if the scarecrow is Gary. When Alex says he doesn’t know, Steve decides to call out loud for Gary, probably operating under the assumption that Gary is a person. He then spots the gorilla majestically sailing down the river in his dinghy.

Steve makes a mad dash towards Gary, and throws his first hoop, which just skims the gorilla. His second hoop then lands on target and spins right around Gary.

Steve then asks if he should keep going, but Alex tells him that he’s already stopped the clock. Steve seems incredulous that the task could have been so easy.

In the studio, Steve says that he enjoyed the task, noting that it was “like being in the fairground again”.

Steve hoopla-ed Gary in just 1 minute and 28 seconds, and incurred no penalties for wet limbs, so he earns 4 points.
