John’s elephant chair
John brings in a howdah, which is a large wooden chair with incorporated drawers, intended for use when riding an elephant.
Greg initially misunderstands what it is, believing that an elephant with a bad back might sit on it.
John points out that it’s quite cruel to use such a seat when riding an elephant, and so claims that by offering it up as his prize, he is taking it off the open market and doing some good.
The elephant chair has great appeal for Greg, so he awards John 5 points.
