Pirjo plays a quick game of hockey
After initially panicking over the task brief, Pirjo runs to the shed. She tells Pilvi that she knows there’s an easier way to do the task. She stops explaining why she will not give up her idea, however, as she is distracted by pouring black paint in stripes over three bowling pins.
Pirjo searches the shed for something to make an elephant, finds a small grey bendable tube, which she tapes it to a small brown basket.
Worried about the passing time, Pirjo asks Pilvi how much time she has left, and is genuinely surprised that her entire plan has come together in only five minutes.
Finally, she casts Pilvi as the clown, giving her a construction helmet for a hat, and putting a ball of red tape on her nose. Pirjo seems to wonder if Pilvi is funny enough to be a clown, but then reasons that if the sight of Pilvi with tape on her nose is enough to make Pirjo laugh, then somewhere, someone else will also be laughing.
Pirjo then picks up an ice hockey stick and tells Pilvi to receive the zebras (‘syöttää’, the verb used in the task brief, primarily means ‘to feed’, but is also used for various sports actions, like serving or passing). When Pilvi questions how, Pirjo simply responds with “only the clown knows”.
One by one, Pirjo passes the animals to Pilvi, who blocks them from entering an imaginary goal. However, Pirjo actually manages to ‘score’ past Pirjo with her elephant shot.
Jaakko awards Pirjo first place.
