Joonas and Pamela attempt to make Jaakko say some words
Joonas and Pamela’s first word is ‘kengännauha’ (shoelace). Joonas begins with “minkä sinä” (‘what you’), and Pamela hesitantly follows with “laitat kenkään” (‘put on shoes’). Realising that she has said one of the words that makes up the compound word they are trying to communicate to Jaakko, Pamela then panics. Joonas gets the team back on track, however, ending their question with “ja sidot?” (‘and tied?’). Jaakko, assuming that Pamela has given away the answer, incorrectly guesses “kenkä” (shoe).
Joonas and Pamela’s second word is ‘Goretex’ (a brand-name weather-resistant fabric). Between the two, starting with Pamela, they ask, “Kun sataa laita takki jossa on?” (‘When it’s raining, put on a coat which has?’). Jaakko incorrectly guesses “huppu” (hood).
The team of two’s final word is ‘lapio’ (shovel/spade; Finnish does not differentiate between the two tools). Starting with Joonas, the pair ask “Työmies kaivaa tällä asialla ison kuopan” (‘A worker digs with this thing big holes’), which is not actually a question, but this is not brought up (presumably because Jaakko has been so bad at the game). Jaakko incorrectly guesses “kaivinkone” (excavator), which shocks everyone, including Pilvi.
After the game ends and the teams reconvene, Jaakko apologises in a very roundabout way, simply saying that some people find it easy to speak in groups, and others find it difficult, before clarifying that he is, of course, not actually talking about himself. He then awards the team of two zero points – a rare occurrence for team-based live tasks. Pamela encourages Joonas to fight for points, but Joonas (who is already well behind on the leaderboard) seems resigned to the result.
