Episode synopsis

In this episode the contestants must bring in something for which they have a bad conscience, make something longer, remove money from under a champagne tower, take some pie with a spoon, and shake hands with the Taskmaster without revealing their identity.

Title context

'The rope says "thank you"' was something uttered by Jon Almaas during the 'Make something longer' task.

Alternate Titles

  • On Sweden's SVT Play streaming platform, this episode is titled 'Inte dumpa skumpa', which translates as 'Don't dump bubbly'. This is a reference to the 'Remove money from under a champagne tower' task, but is worded so that it rhymes (with 'dumpa' meaning 'dump', and 'skumpa' meaning 'bubbly'), rather than the more literal 'Spill inte champagne' ('Don't spill champagne'). Assistant Intro

And so that I can just sit here and enjoy the fruits of the tasks, I have with me the man with control over everything from metres to minutes, until I have to change the battery in the smoke alarm. Take good care of yourself, Olli Wermskog.
