Episode synopsis
In this episode, the contestants must bring in the thing that it’s best to just have one of, find a minivan in a sock, go full ‘slop mode’, make themselves look either extremely strong or extremely weak, and communicate the time to the Taskmaster.
Title context
Wil Anderson opines that “I don’t think it’s full slop mode if the slop finds you – you’ve gotta find the slop” during the ‘Go full slop mode’ task.
Taskmaster Intro
Hello, welcome to the highly anticipated seventh episode of Taskmaster Australia. It’s the show that answers the burning question - what if comedians had feelings? And what if the man hosting them did not give a single shit about those feelings? I am that host. And, yes, I am who you think I am - the man who killed, and is wearing the skin of, Tom Gleeson. Sitting in front of me, as always, are five sweet, innocent children between the ages of 29 and 50.
Assistant Intro
And here beside me, a man who I’d love to get to know better, if his dressing-room didn’t smell so much of Nutri-Grain. It’s my assistant, Lesser Tom.
Taskmaster's Sign-off
That’s episode seven done, dusted, and in the cupboard. But what have we learned? Well, we all learned that, despite the subtle encouragement, full slop mode will never catch on. Josh learnt that, despite my harsh exterior, sometimes I will give one instead of zero. And Anne learnt that, despite common sense, in this one case, giving a bloke a pull has gotten her to the top. Many happy returns to her. She’s our winner. Let’s do this all again next week. See you!
