Episode synopsis

In this episode, the contestants must find and complete the real task, photograph a lake monster, don and then remove some T-shirts, convince Babben that they deserve 5 points, find out who the lying karate guy is bringing to the studio recording, build a tower while avoiding electric shocks, and disguise their silhouettes from Babben.

Title context

Torbjörn Averås Skorup cries out “Oh no, I stepped in poop” while walking towards the water to retrieve the task brief in the ‘Photograph the lake monster’ task.

Taskmaster Intro

Yes indeed, you’re watching Bäst i Test, the show that mixes monkey business and pleasure by testing out the problem-solving ability of five volunteers for your primetime delectation.

Contestant Intros

The inimitable Marie Agerhäll!
The inexhaustible Torbjörn Averås Skorup!
The irresistible Lotta Engberg!
The indefatigable Nour El Refai!
The incomprehensible Eric Stern!

Assistant Intro

And Mother’s Little Olle is, of course, joining us this week, forever lost in the blueberry forest: David Sundin.

Note: Mors lila Olle (‘Mother’s Little Olle’) is a Swedish children’s song about a young boy who feeds his blueberries to a bear, completely ignorant that he is in any danger. In the fansubs for this episode, this reference was changed to the nursery rhyme Little Jack Horner, which makes David’s follow-up reference to his time as a scout seem a little out of place.

Episode prize

Image of the prize in this episode: a framed copy of Nour’s botched photo from the ‘Photograph the lake monster’ task.

The prize in this episode is a framed copy of Nour’s botched photo from the ‘Photograph the lake monster’ task, which David sarcastically calls “a gorgeous picture depicting a nature motif” and “photographic art at its very best”.

Taskmaster's Sign-off

What have we learned today? Well, if you look David in the eyes, you might wind up stunned. Don’t wear too many T-shirts. And always say ‘thank you’ – it could be worth 5 points.
