In this version of the task, the contestants must figure out who the karate guy will be bringing to the studio recording as his guest.

The task brief is laid on a rug in the study. The brief for the task is as follows:
Look into the future.
Find out who the karate guy is bringing as a guest to the studio.
You may only whisper in an accent which isn’t your natural accent.
The karate guy will only answer ‘yes’ or ‘no’.
Fastest one to find out the karate guy’s studio guest wins.
Your time starts when the karate guy hits the gong.
And remember: the karate guy always lies.

- Also on the rug, the ‘Karate Guy’ is sat waiting, cross-legged, with his gong.
- The study has otherwise been cleared of all furniture.
- The Karate Guy’s guest turns out to be David Sundin’s mother, Christina Sundin.
