Episode synopsis

In this episode, the contestants must bring in the most useless thing that cost more than C$20, move a beach ball across a finish line using only water, convey an object to their team-mate(s) using only limited means of communication, write and perform lyrics for the Taskmaster theme tune, make a popcorn necklace and then do the right thing, and retrieve a rubber duck while wearing inversion goggles.

Title context

Richardson Zéphir sings “You’re my baby freedom” during his attempt at the ‘Write and perform lyrics for the Taskmaster theme tune’ task.

Assistant Intro

He’s the real Master of the Game – Antoine Vezina!

Note: The literal translation of the show’s title is ‘Master of the Game’, although it’s always changed to ‘Taskmaster’ in the fan subs. This introduction may also be a reference to Antoine’s love of chess (i.e. describing him as a chess grandmaster).
