The Taskmaster says...
- In this Taskmaster version of the kids' game Simon Says, the contestant must follow the instructions given by the Taskmaster, but ignore those given by their assistant.
- To complicate matters, the contestants must do this while standing on one foot, with the other - adorned with needles - hovering over a balloon on the ground.
- Contestants who follow the wrong instructions or fail to follow the Taskmaster's instructions, and those who fail to keep their foot above the balloon or burst it, are eliminated, until just one remains.
Adaptations
In this version of the task, the contestants are not wearing a special shoe with pins in the sole on their hovering foot, meaning that they are able to rest their foot on top of their balloons without bursting them. The task also has a game-ending failsafe, should the contestants prove to be too adept: whoever completes the last instruction (popping the balloon) fastest wins.
