- In this live studio task the contestants are instructed to select a tool and then a food item, and have to attempt to divide the food item exactly in half with the tool.

Adaptations
In this version of the task, the contestants do not know why they are choosing their weapon. The true goal of the task is only revealed after the weapons have already been distributed.
In this version of the task, the order in which the contestants get to choose their weapons and items of food is based on their position on the scoreboard. Also, their attempts are scored based on the percentage difference between the weights of the two halves, rather than the absolute difference.
