Complete tasks while repeating a word in time with a metronome
- In this task the contestants must complete one or more tasks while also remembering to say a word (sometimes 'metronome', and sometimes a word of their choice) between each tick of a metronome.
- In some versions of the task, they have to complete a series of mini-tasks, such as inflating a balloon, and eating poppadoms.
Adaptations
In this version of the task the contestants must inflate a balloon, tell a joke, and eat one poppadom, while remembering to say 'metronome'. Ten seconds are added to their total time each time they do not say the word 'metronome'.
In this version of the task, the contestants must attempt to place a series of objects in the 'correct' order. They are required to choose a ‘pleasant’ word before opening the task brief, and must then say that word in between the beats of a metronome.
