Champion of Champions

Special synopsis

The first Champion of Champions special mini-season of Stormester, consisting of four episodes, began airing on TV2 on 4 November 2023, though it premiered a week earlier on the streaming service TV2 Play.

The special features the champions from the first five seasons of the show: Christian Fuhlendorff (season 1), Sofie Linde (season 2), Victor Lander (season 3), Annika Aakjær (season 4), and Jonas Mogensen (season 5).

The studio filming sessions for the special took place on 7 and 8 November 2022 in the Cirkusrevyen Tent at the Bakken amusement park near Copenhagen.

For the first time in the history of the show, the mini-season featured pre-filmed team tasks.

There are also no individual episode prizes in this special.

Special prize

The prize up for grabs in this special is all five of the trophies previously won by the contestants in their own seasons.

Notes

• On 22 September 2022, the official Stormester Instagram account teased that there would be an exciting announcement about the show, the following day.
• On 23 September 2022, the account shared a trailer, confirming that a Champion of Champions special, consisting of four episodes, would be airing after season 6, in 2023. The accompanying post shared that the studio filming would be taking place in early November, and that tickets would go on sale from 3 October 2022.
• The same day, Mark Le Fêvre shared some photos of himself with the five contestants on his own Instagram account.
• A follow-up post on Instagram on 27 September 2022, regarding a 'second chance' special mini-season for contestants who did not win their seasons, revealed that the live studio filming for this Champion of Champions special would take place on the 7th and 8th of November.
• Tickets for the live recordings went on sale on 3 October 2022 and sold out within 24 hours, after significant issues with the ticketing website lead to the creation of a queuing system.
• On 25 September 2023, Lasse Rimmer revealed on the broadcast channel of his Instagram account that this special would begin airing on 4 November 2023, but would premier a week earlier on TV2 Play.
