Task briefs
The task brief is laid on the desk in the study. The briefs for the task are as follows:
On the outside of the task envelope:
Say a pleasant word.
Inside the task envelope:
Place the things on the table in the correct order.
Throughout the entire task, say your pleasant word in between each beat on the metronome.
You can't change the metronome.
Every time you make a mistake with the metronome, 10 seconds will be added.
Fastest wins.
Your time starts when Mark starts the metronome.
Task notes
- Also on the desk, there is a plastic lizard, an issue of Femina magazine, a figurine of an angel, a wooden clog, and a tomato. There is also a metronome on the desk, separate from these items.
- The contestants must choose a ‘pleasant’ word for themselves, before opening the task brief.
- While this task is primarily an adaptation of the ‘Put these things in order’ task from Kongen Befaler, it also incorporates the element of saying a word between each tick of a metronome, taken from the ‘Complete various tasks while saying ‘metronome’’ task, first used in series 11 of Taskmaster UK.
- Lasse clarifies, in the studio, that points will only be awarded if the contestant figures out the correct order.
- The correct order is numerical, based on the numbers which appear (or sound like they appear) at the start of the name of each item: angel (‘engel’, with ‘en’ meaning ‘one’); tomato (‘tomat’ , with ‘to’ meaning ‘two’); clog (‘træsko’, with ‘tre’ meaning ‘three’); lizard (‘firben’, with ‘fire’ meaning ‘four’); and then Femina magazine (with ‘fem’ meaning ‘five’).
