- In this filmed task, the contestants must write and perform a short jingle for something which has been selected at random (e.g. an object or business).
- In some versions, the musical instrument they must use for their jingle is also selected at random.
Original version
In this version of the task, the contestants must write a jingle for a randomly selected object, using a randomly selected musical instrument.
Adaptations
In this version of the task, the contestants must write and perform a jingle for a business selected at random from a jar full of business cards. They have a short period of time to call and interview the business owner. The choice of instrumentation is entirely up to the contestants.
