Taskmaster series 14 cast revealed

We got yet another exciting Taskmasterverse cast reveal this week, immediately after the airing of the second UK Champion of Champions special, as the fresh batch of contestants who will be competing in series 14 of Taskmaster later this year was announced.

Although most of the contestants will likely already be very familiar to fans of British comedy, here's a brief summary of who they are, and what they might be best known for.

Dara Ó Briain

Dara is an Irish stand-up comedian and television presenter, perhaps best known for hosting the topical panel show Mock The Week and the reboot of Robot Wars.

Fern Brady

Fern is a Scottish comedian and writer who has appeared as a presenter on British as Folk and as a guest on 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Seann Walsh's Late Night Comedy Spectacular, Live at the Apollo, and Frankie Boyle's New World Order.

John Kearns

John is an English comedian who starred in the BBC sitcom Top Coppers, and is the assistant host of the panel show Guessable.

Munya Chawawa

Munya is a British-Zimbabwean comedian, best known for characters such as the posh drill rapper 'Unknown P' and the chef 'Jonny Oliver'. He is currently a host of the Freeze the Fear companion programme Munya and Filly Get Chilly.

Sarah Millican

Sarah is an English comedian and presenter, known for The Sarah Millican Television Programme, and for her appearances across multiple popular panel shows including 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Would I Lie to You?.
