Taskmaster NZ season 3 cast revealed
More exciting news from New Zealand this week, as the NZ Herald revealed the identities of the contestants appearing in the third season of Taskmaster NZ.
While an official air date still has not been announced, it appears most likely that the season will start airing in July.
While we wait for an official announcement on that, here's a summary of what I was able to find out about the new panel of contestants (click their names for more info):
Chris Parker
Chris is a comedian, well-known for his appearances on the NZ panel shows 7 Days and Have You Been Paying Attention? and from his role in the cult hit improvised comedy show Snort. He has also featured as both a writer and actor on Funny Girls and Jono & Ben.
Josh Thomson
Josh is an actor and comedian of Tongan heritage. He is best known for his work as a comedian on 7 Days, Have You Been Paying Attention?, and Patriot Brains, and as a host on The Project.
Justine Smith
Justine is a comedian who has made recent appearances on After Hours, Funny Girls, and 7 Days. She was also a writer on Rhys Darby’s Short Poppies.
Kura Forrester
Kura, of Māori descent, may be best known for her acting role on the long-running NZ soap opera Shortland Street, but is also an award-winning stand-up comedian, and has many other stage and screen acting credits.
Paul Ego
Paul is a NZ comedy veteran, best known for his many years as the Team 1 Captain on the hit TV panel show 7 Days, and as a panelist on Have You Been Paying Attention?.
