Kongen Befaler season 6 cast revealed

Fans of the excellent Norwegian version of Taskmaster, Kongen Befaler, were delighted this week at the revelation of the cast for season 6 of the show, which is expected to air in late 2022.

The Norwegian news website Nettavisen.no broke the news on the evening of 7 June 2022, providing details of how the members of the new panel of contestants might be best known to audiences.

Espen Eckbo, comedian and actor

Espen is known for his role as Ernst Øyvind Tvedt in Nissene over skog og hei ['The elves over forest and hello']. Internationally, he is best recognised for having helped to create the fictional boy band Boyzvoice and the subsequent mockumentary Get Ready to be Boyzvoiced (2000), together with Henrik Elvestad (Kongen Befaler season 5 contestant).

Henriette Steensrup, comedian and actor

Henriette is known for playing Edel in comedy programmes such as Torsdag kveld fra Nydalen ['Thursday night from Nydalen'] and Dritseint med Edel, and also for creating and starring in the TV series Pørni.

Martha Leivestad, comedian

Martha may be known from Ikke lov å le på hytta ['Not allowed to laugh at the cabin'], 4ETG and Avkledd ['Undressed'] with Jenny Skavlan (a Kongen Befaler season 3 contestant). She also created her own programme Martha blir rik ['Martha gets rich'] on NRK.

Live Nelvik, presenter and actor

Live is well known from the radio show P3 Morgen, and is the host of Lørdagsrådet on NRK. She appeared in the reality TV show Farmen in 2004, and found great success as the presenter of Dama til ['Girlfriend To']. She is married to the radio personality Tore Sagen (brother of Steinar Sagen, who was a contestant in season 4 of Kongen Befaler).

Kristoffer Olsen, singer and actor

Kristoffer has appeared in the BBC shows Father Brown and Holby City, and also appeared in the NRK series Magnus in 2019. In addition, he has appeared in the musical The Book of Mormon.
