Le Maître du Jeu update

On 4 July 2022, further details were released about the production of the Quebecois adaptation of the Taskmaster format, Le Maître du Jeu.

The new version of the show, featuring Louis Morissette in the Taskmaster role, and Antoine Vézina as his assistant, was previously announced to have begun production, back in April 2022.

The contestants for the first season of the show were announced as Mehdi Bousaidan, Ève Côté, Christine Morency, Matthieu Pepper, and Jo Cormier.

The show has now reportedly wrapped up its filming of pre-recorded tasks in the municipality of Saint-Bruno, and a few still images of the cast in action have been released (Hollywood PQ article / ShowBizz article).

In addition, the dates for the filming of the live studio segments have now been announced, scheduled to take place at the Rialto Theater in Quebec between 31 July 2022 and 8 August 2022. Tickets to these sessions may be requested via the Public Cible website, where it is revealed that a total of 12 episodes are scheduled for production.
