Jo Cormier
Biography
Jo Cormier is a Canadian comedian and actor.
After taking part in Dr Mobilo Aquafest and Zoofest, it was in the summer of 2017 that Jo stood out on the stage at Place des Arts, when he took part in Patrick Groulx's Just for Laughs Gala. Then it all came together for him: Bell's crush at Zoofest in 2019, big winner of the Abitibi Emerging Comedy Festival in 2019, in addition to getting his first nominations at the Gala les Olivier.
In 2020 the show Le Prochain Stand-Up allowed the general public to discover Jo, as he made it to the semi-finals in addition to winning the People's Choice award. On TV, he became known for his performances on Roast Battle: le grand duel, where he won the 3rd season. Also in 2020, he participated in a second Just for Laughs Gala and signed a production contract for his first one-man show.
In 2021 he launched his first one-man show Animal
In 2022 he received two nominations at the Gala des Olivier.

Recurring bits
Jo repeatedly shouts out the phrase "Tout le monde gagne!" ['Everyone wins!'] during the studio records, and even brings in a hoodie with the catchphrase printed on it, for one of his prize tasks.
