Jo claims that the ice is quartz
Jo initially tries dragging the table with the ice on it out of shot, insisting that the camera remain centred on Antoine.
He then carries the block as far as the paved surface of the adjacent car park, and smashes it on the ground.
He hides some of the larger chunks behind a rock, and scuffs the smaller fragments across the paved surface, before attempting to claim that the ice is actually quartz.
He attempts to have a passing member of the public back him up, by asking what he thinks is on the ground, but that individual correctly deduces that it is, indeed, ice.
In total, Jo only spent 2 minutes and 24 seconds on his attempt.
Louis very generously awards him joint third place for his effort.
