Everybody tries to crack the code

Christine is the first contestant to crack the code and cross the finishing line.

Ève is the second contestant to crack the code and cross the finishing line.

Matthieu is the third contestant to crack the code and cross the finishing line.

Jo struggles to crack the code for some time because he thinks there are 24 letters in the alphabet, rather than 26, so thinks the letter should be 'X', rather than 'V'. He then manages to tip his chair over sideways, somehow. Struggling up onto his feet, he runs across the finish line, still chained to his seat, which is not accepted. He eventually cracks the code, and is the fourth and final contestant to cross the finish line.

Mehdi never cracks the code, and so is still chained to his chair at the end of the show. However, he still receives a 'pity point' for coming last.
