Another Le Maître du Jeu update

It's been over a month since my last update on Le Maître du Jeu, the new French-Canadian adaptation of Taskmaster being made in Quebec. So here's a quick update, with some additional details, based on a couple of recent online posts.

First off, on 4 August 2022 the Canadian TV network Noovo posted a few photos from the studio production sessions of Le Maître du Jeu on its Facebook and Twitter accounts, revealing: the stage set design, including a throne which seems way too big for the (relative to Greg Davies) diminutive Taskmaster, Louis Morissette; and that the 'Make the longest continuous noise' live task was likely to make an appearance.

Then, just today (11 August 2022), someone who had attended the filming of two of the episodes of the show, at the Rialto Theatre in Montreal, posted an account of their experience on the Bother's Bar gameshow website, in which they revealed, among other things, that:

• All the tasks used in the show had been adapted from Taskmaster UK, so we shouldn't expect to see any original ideas on that front (but hopefully we'll at least see some new approaches to some old favourites).
• The contestants are not seated in alphabetical order, and even switch seats between episodes.
• It appears unlikely that there are any 'location' tasks, with all the tasks the author saw having apparently been filmed at the show's Taskmaster house (at parc National du Mont-St-Bruno, just outside of Montreal).
• The format of the show remains otherwise unchanged, with the familiar prize task, followed by three filmed tasks, and then a final live task on stage.
• The show would begin airing at 8pm local time on Thursday evenings, from mid-September (i.e. mostly likely starting on 15 September 2022).

If and when I see or hear any further news on the show - perhaps some more official marketing releases, or a trailer - I'll be sure to post another update.
