Biography

Eija Annikki Vilpas (born on 17 July 1957) is a Finnish actress and screenwriter who has played film roles since 1981.

On TV, her most famous characters have been Pirjo "Pirre" Kaasinen in Fakta, Vappu Nieminen in the series Hynttyyt yähten, and Raili in Paavo and Raili.

Since 1988, she has had an extensive stage career at the Helsinki City Theatre.

She has also worked as a voice actor and as a teacher of expressive arts.
