In this version of the task the contestants must choose to place between one and ten doughnuts on a plate. Those who choose the same number as someone else automatically score one point, rather than being eliminated. Other contestants are scored according to how few doughnuts they chose.

The brief for the task is as follows:
You have 30 seconds to place between one and 10 doughnuts on the small plate.
The one who places the lowest unique number of doughnuts on the plate wins.
Task notes
- The contestants are lined up side-by-side on stage, separated by partition screens which are about 5 feet tall (meaning that most of the contestants can easily see over them, if they choose).
- Each contestant is stood behind a table upon which there are two plates: one with a pile of 10 small ring doughnuts on it, and the other being empty.
