Attempts
Here's a brief description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on writing up some additional detail, though!
- James attached a roll of tape to a cardboard box and tried to hoist it up a tree, but failed to get the tape over a branch to use as a rope.
- Jessica initially made a tower from flattened boxes, but it fell over, leading to her making boxes and stacking them in the last 4 minutes. She built a tower less than 3 metres tall - the actual height was not specified.
- Kerry assembled boxes and stacked them on top of each other, not realising there was tape.
- Phil tried to claim that the boxes he had made were not boxes as they were open on one side. He taped the boxes together before raising them up to form a tower. As Greg decided an open box was still a box, Phil's tower was measure after the first 5 minutes, making his tower 75cm tall (a box with the flaps opens).
- Rhod taped flattened boxes together before raising it up to form a tower that was supported by a nearby tree. He built a 4.28 metre tall tower.
