Task notes
- When the task begins, a videos is projected on the screen which shows Alex standing in various positions in front of the Taskmaster house, with various objects superimposed on the scene.
- The sequence of objects presented on the screen is revealed by Alex to be as follows: Teapot, Horse, Rabbit, Egg cup, Elephant, Tortoise, House, Robin, Eagle, Éclair, Trophy, Hose, Robot, Extension lead, Egg timer.
- The first letters of each of the items to be named thus spells out ‘THREE THREÉ THREE’, which is the answer to how many chairs are in the cinema (333).
- However, based on footage of the contestants’ attempts, the sequence actually continued beyond just these three sets of objects, including: Hedgehog, Emu, Triangle (as in the musical instrument), Exercise Ball, Ear, and Envelope.
- On the very edge of the stage, there are five additional miniature chairs, which the contestants might miss.
- Given the office chair and five miniature chairs on the stage, this means that there must have been 327 regular cinema seats in the cinema.
