Mastertask notes:

In this version of the task, there are two bathtubs to fill, and the tub to be judged for each contestant is the one with the least amount of water in it, which means they must attempt to distribute the water evenly. Also, the water box is mounted on top of the shed, and the water shoots out of a small hole in the front of it, rather than out of the top.

Task brief

The task brief is attached to the top of the shed doorway. The brief for the task is as follows:

Fill the bathtubs with water from the water box.

You may not move or destroy the water box or the bathtubs.

The water will turn on for 90 seconds in 10 minutes.

The most water in the bathtub with the least amount of water in it wins.

Task notes

In front of the shed, there are two different bathtubs.
On top of the shed, there is a ‘water box’, as seen previously in season 7’s ‘Fill the bathtub with water from the box’ task, though this is not exactly the same box as used in that task. The tap on the front of the box is a misdirect, with the water actually spraying from a small opening near the top-left corner of the same side of the box.
Given that the bathtub used in judging each contestant’s attempt is the one with the least water in it, they must attempt to distribute the water evenly to both bathtubs.
