Task brief

Taking turns, walk towards Atle either with or without a broomstick on your person.

There are a variety of different types of broomsticks available.

Once a broomstick has been used, it may not be used again.

If Atle correctly guesses whether you are carrying a broomstick or not, you are eliminated.

If he guesses incorrectly, they make it through to the next round.

The last contestants standing wins.

Task notes

The contestants are all stood behind the scenery at the back of the stage, where there is also a selection of different broomsticks for them to choose from.
Atle is seated on his throne at the front centre of the stage, with his back to the audience.
For each contestant’s turn, the wall which forms the central piece of the stage scenery is lifted up to reveal them, once they have gotten into position with their chosen broomstick. It is then lowered again to allow the next contestant to take up their position.
A bench has been placed at the right-hand side of the stage for the eliminated contestants to sit on, with their broomsticks.
