Episode 5: Salmon shoes

Episode synopsis
In this episode, the contestants must pull a sword from a stone, perform an impromptu educational puppet show, do something really stupid, get the most ducks into Mark’s basket, and pop up from behind a wall.
Episode notes
Lasse and Mark spend the entire episode dressed as mice characters. They claim it’s due to a costume department mix-up between Stormester and a production of Dyrene i Hakkebakkeskogen (‘The animals in Hakkebakke Forest’), a live children’s show being produced at the same location, based on the book Klatremus og de andre dyrene i Hakkebakkeskogen (‘Klatremus and the other animals in Hakkebakke Forest) by the Norwegian playwright Thorbjørn Egner.
Title context
Mette Søndergaard walks on stage wearing two real salmon on her feet, during the ‘Do something really stupid’ task, and announces that she’s wearing “lakssko” (“salmon shoes”) – a pun on the word ‘laksko’, meaning ‘lacquer shoes’ (i.e. patent leather shoes).

Taskmaster Intro
Good evening. Welcome to Stormester. An adventure where it pays to be a simpleton. I’m the 52-year-old princess with greying temples. But who will get their happily ever after? One of these five suitors will.
Assistant Intro
And by my side, my ever diligent assistant, Mark le Fêvre.
Episode prize

The prize in this episode is Mette Søndergaard’s tooth, which had been won by Ane Høgsberg in the previous episode. Ane claims that the Tooth Fairy had left her a threatening note instead of money, when she left the tooth underneath her pillow, so she now wants someone else to take it.
Taskmaster's Sign-off
A good effort can lead to a bad tooth. The winner is Ane Høgsberg. If you've just turned on your TV, you've missed the whole thing. Thank you for tonight.
