Task brief
The brief for the task is as follows:
Convince the Taskmaster that your feet are in ice when they are not, or that they are not in ice, when they are.
You must have your feet in ice, or not in ice, for 30 seconds before the Taskmaster makes his guess.
You may not change your choice along the way.
If the Taskmaster guesses correctly, you are eliminated.
The last participant standing wins.
Task notes
- The contestants are lined up side-by-side on stage, each standing with their lower legs concealed within wooden boxes, which have been decorated to resemble wrapped Christmas presents.
- Inside the boxes, there are plastic trays full of ice water.
- The front face of each box is not attached, and can be pulled away on demand by Lasse to reveal the contestants’ feet, using lengths of rope strung between the boxes and his chair.
- The rope is striped in red and white, resembling Christmas candy canes.
- After the task brief has been read, Lasse clarifies that this is a winner-takes-all task.
