Attempts
Here's a description of the contestants' attempts. Someone's probably working on collecting some images to add later!
- Al notices that the materials supplied are condiments almost immediately. He claims that he enjoyed the task, and is the only contestant who uses his hands to smear the condiments on the wall. He is awarded 5 points because there was “sadness in his condiment eyes”.
- Sara is shocked when she works out that the materials supplied are condiments. She is the only one to attempt a full length body portrait, in which she is depicted doing a handstand, with her hair covering her face. She earns 4 points for her creativity.
- Paul keeps asking what each of the bottles are, and Alex merely answers with their colour. Paul complains about the squirt not being good enough, and also that he hadn’t been supplied with enough brown, which he claims is racist. He earns joint last place and 2 points.
- Dave is a little confused with the upside-down aspect of the task, initially. He also notes that “condiments have never been my medium”. Greg awards Dave third place because the sound that he imagines the condiment face is making gives him joy.
- Rob complains that the brown sauce is cheap and vinegary. The white also fails to adhere to the wall because it was too runny. He earns joint last place and 2 points.
