Anne gets caught up in the plastic sheeting

Anne enters the room and exclaims “balloon time!”.

After reading the task brief, she takes a look at the balloons and works out that not all of them contain hot chips.

Anne detaches a balloon from the frame, pointing out that the task didn’t specify that she had to pop the balloons with the helmet. She bends over and, while laughing and screaming, pops the balloon, but nothing falls into her basket.

She then pops a few more balloons, screaming with each pop, and manages to collect one chip.

She then asks Tom to go and get her some scissors. She pops another balloon while he’s out of the room, screaming again as she does so.

Once she has the scissors, she cuts down balloons with them and checks their contents. However, she also continues to accidentally pop balloons with her helmet.

While she is checking the contents of one balloon, she accidentally gets the seagull’s spike stuck into the plastic sheeting on the walls.

After Tom blows his whistle, Anne says she feels pretty happy and in control. She keeps the helmet on as she tries to leave the lab, and gets it stuck in the plastic sheeting again. She ends up leaving the room on all fours.

In the studio, Anne says she always thought there was something fundamentally wrong with her, and that appearing on this show had proven it.

Tom Cashman confirms that, on top of the A$40 worth of damage she’d done to the plastic curtain, she had collected 40 chips.

Anne earns 4 points.
