Lloyd’s plumbing rap
Lloyd enters the room and greets Tom Cashman with the word “Tonkatsu”.
He picks out the business card for the company DCM Plumbing and Drainage. He phones the company, and the lady who answers confirms that they are in the plumbing trade, and handle all maintenance plumbing, blocked drains, tree roots in the drain, and also deal with gas appliances.
As the lady continues talking, Lloyds interrupts to say “Yep, you’ve definitely given me enough material for 30 seconds”.
For the video of his jingle, Lloyd is filmed sitting on the loo and performing actions around the sink in the kitchen, while (badly) rapping/singing the following, over a basic electronic beat played on a keyboard:
If you’ve broke your toilet with your bum, we’ll certainly come.
Forget about your ass, we’ll certificate your gas.
Leeky taps, smelly taps, we’ll fix a sink trap.
Tree roots, we’ll fill out boots.
If your drain is a pain, we’ll plunge away your shame.
I swear on my daughter, we’ll sparkle up your water.
DCM plumbing, for all your pipe-based needs
In the studio, Tom Gleeson asks him if he’s the only Welshman who can’t sing. He then questions the line regarding the sparkling water, and Lloyd explains that the company can fit a special adaptor to your tap. When Anne indicates that she’s interested in this, Tom Cashman asks “Are you interested enough to put your daughter on the line?”, and Anne indicates that she is.
Lloyd earns 2 points.
