Eero drives for too long

After hyping himself up trying to think of ideas, Eero eventually interprets the task as meaning that the water must be thrown as far away from where the task was received as possible.

By the time he has gathered up the fishbowl of water and is making his way towards a production car, Pilvi informs him that he has just six minutes of his time remaining.

Eero initially decides to use half of his time for driving, and the remaining half for throwing the water, before realising his mistake and telling Pilvi that he will throw the water in the last 10 seconds of his time.

Pilvi sits in the backseat of the car, while Eero drives, holding the fishbowl while he does so. This means that he splashes himself with water whenever he hits a bump in the road, causing him to slow down his driving, and thereby reducing the overall distance covered.

Despite having planned to leave himself enough time to pull over and pour out the water, Eero’s time actually ends while he’s still getting out of the car with the fishbowl. In a panic, he stumbles and nearly drops the fishbowl, spilling it all over the road a second or two after his time officially ends, which Pamela brings up in the studio. As Eero’s distance thrown is effectively non-existent as it is, Jaakko ignores this complaint. Jaakko is confused by Eero’s and other contestants’ interpretations of the task wording, arguing that javelin-throwing competitions don’t begin with a 10 minute drive before the javelin is thrown.

Eero drives 750 metres away from the house before throwing the water just 10 centimetres, so he earns last place.
