Joonas goes for a drive
After reading the task brief, Joonas interprets it as meaning that the water must be thrown as far away from where the task was received as possible.
He immediately gets the idea to drive away with the fishbowl of water, so he puts Pilvi in the backseat of a production car, assigning her the task of holding the fishbowl while he drives.
Unlike Eero, who was a more cautious driver during his attempt, since Joonas is not holding the fishbowl of water himself, he drives more recklessly, seemingly oblivious for quite some time that whenever he hits a bump, he is sloshing water all over Pilvi. He does eventually realise this, and apologises, but then still doesn’t appear to slow down.
In the final 10 seconds, Joonas pulls over at a quiet intersection, and dumps out the contents of the fishbowl on the ground.
In the studio, Jaakko is confused by Joonas and other contestants’ interpretations of the task wording, arguing that javelin-throwing competitions don’t begin with a 10 minute drive before the javelin is thrown.
Joonas drives 4.8 kilometres from the house before throwing the water just 1.2 metres, so he earns fourth place.
